This is a recent site. Like most building complexes in Łódź, this one died slowly, first succumbing to decay, then to demolition, and now...it's in limbo. People dump their trash and walk their dogs out here, or drink in the corners.

Going home.

The trick was not to fly into Amsterdam Schiphol, but to Eindhoven instead. It's much cheaper,even including the train and bus ride you need to get to Amsterdam itself.

I'm glad I shot this picture on film (bad film, too). If it had been digital, the colours would have been more real, but also more boring.

This is not my plane, by the way, I think this one was going to England. But I flew Wizzair, too.

Close to where I work, this friendly woman has a little house with a yard full of junk and extremely friendly dogs. There were also puppies! Amazing adorable fat-sausage-with-legs little puppies! :D :D Oh, how I wanted to take one home. But I have no time or money for a puppy :( Besides, they were all already accounted for.

Everyone wanted to hold one :D

You find many things when you walk around the fields. Weeds, trash, abandoned shacks, discarded construction material... and stuff like this. I don't know what that's all about.

The sunshine was beautiful today. I went for a long walk with Guinness, and when we strayed off our usual path, we ran into several pigeoner's shanties that I hadn't known about.

There are a lot of them in this area- if the city ever expands and eats the fields, I will miss these tumbledown volieres the most.

I had no ideas for a picture today so when Guinness suggested a walk (he is very persuasive) late at night I decided to just point my camera at something and fire that nasty built-in flash.

This is a little meadow at the edge of our neighbourhood which gathers water whenever possible. The snows have been melting, as you can see...and that is Bad. ;) (or 'pool', I suppose, or 'pod'... it's like a trash-in-the-deluge Rorschach's test.)
