I had a friend over. She bought spinach, then left without eating it. I detest spinach, but I also detest wasting food, so I camouflaged it in a tomato, pepper and garlic sauce. Yum. :)

At my favourite veggie and fruit vendor's. I snapped the picture, then bought half a kilo.

Another evening of staying at home. And this will ALSO go into my breakfast shake. Strawberries are in season and cheap as dirt, I always eat massive amounts of them in the summer. And then none for the rest of the year- who wants oversized, tasteless, imported and overpriced fruit?

February 24th

While I was in Dresden, a friend texted me about this heart. "You should go take a picture!" she said. It's just got such a strange face.

I didn't get around to it until well after Valentine's day, but the heart was still there. This flower shop is on Kilińskiego, one of the main city arteries, and at the same time one of the poorest and dodgiest streets in Lodz. I guess it suits it :)

Barszcz with mushroom-stuffed pierogies can make many troubles go away. Even if the photo you end up taking of it is badly framed and just a tad blurry. ;)
