Sketchbook Interlude

I thought I would share the few sketches I did in Amsterdam.

Sketches below from Bitterzoet, waiting for Phosphorescent to come on stage. I did mean to actually draw the band but when they got there I was too busy listening. Very, very nice concert.

Not sure which. I planted a lot of random stuff on my windowsill.

This is how I set things up. The tablet isn't mine, but the compies are. (And please notice how wonderfully my bean plant has grown!)

There was a hive in the tree and I guess it got broken. I normally bike right down this path, I'm glad I didn't that day. Not sure I would have managed to stop before hitting the cloud.

June 16th

I finally got my film developed- this was when I could upload the shots from Amsterdam. I'm a bit of a stickler about keeping the Flickr stream in chronological order. :P And of course since I'm back home and working late you get another half-assed shot. :P

The light is lovely in the morning, falling through the trees like through a colander.

June 14th

Need I describe it one more time?

June 13th

Fourteen hours of darkness.

(Okay, not really, because the sun did rise, but we didn't have any electricity from 11 pm Sunday til about 2 pm Monday. No idea why.)

And this time the light was NOT hiding in the fridge like it was two years ago:
